Stanley's story: Bringing hope for homeless animals this new year

UPDATE: More than one million pit bulls were killed in the United States
last year. That's more than all the dogs registered by the American
Kennel Club. See more on Terrierman blog.

Sometimes the plight of homeless animals seems overwhelming. Tens
of thousands of animals enter shelters around the state each year.
Many are saved. More are not.

What can any single person do? Get a hanky and click on Stanley's story
below. His is not so much a Christmas miracle as evidence of what can
happen when people from all over, who've never met each other, come
together to save a life.

Here's to new life in the new year.
