A dog kennel has closed as a result of a PSPCA raid.

About 66 dogs were removed Friday from the Limestone Kennels in
Cochranville, in Upper Oxford Township.

Kennel owner John Blank pleaded guilty to eight counts of animal
cruelty and two violations of the state's dog law.

Blank has had his license permanently revoked, and has been placed on
two years probation, during which time state officials will ensure he
does not own more than five personal dogs. He surrendered
approximately 66 dogs to the PSPCA.
